Commemorative events to mark the 450th anniversary of the Battle of Langside 1568 – 13th May – 2018.
They are primarily led and organised by Langside Community Heritage which is a small group that recently received charitable status. You don’t have to be an archaeologist or an academic to get involved (I’m a member for example because I’m a local resident with an interest in the area’s history), so if you would like more information on how to become a member or get involved please see the groups contact information below.
Look out for other events to mark the 450th anniversary that will fall under the banner of Langside 450.
